Khadijat Mojidi has over 30 years of international development experience as a diplomat in Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean, now serving as a Senior Strategic Advisor at Hacking the Workforce. She specializes in strategic planning, human resources, and program design in health, employment, and education. Khadijat is dedicated to empowering marginalized communities through sustainable development initiatives globally.
Throughout her work in more than 25 countries, she has partnered with government officials, grassroots organizations, civil society, and the private sector to create programs focused on women's empowerment, youth education, employment, and gender equity. She has experience in training and placement programs for youth in urban areas, particularly targeting marginalized groups. Her ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and design community-driven solutions is essential for Hacking the Workforce and her role at USAID.
In her former role as a USAID Country Coordinator, Khadijat has helped launch significant initiatives like the Global Development Alliance for sustainable energy through the Cross Boundary Solar Project in Sierra Leone, aiming to improve infrastructure access and economic activity in underserved regions. Her skills in program implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and federal grant proposal development further ensure that Hacking the Workforce's initiatives effectively meet community needs.
