What is Pre-Apprenticeship?
Pre-apprenticeship prepares individuals for success in Registered Apprenticeship programs through training and support. It includes career-readiness training, personalized IT and cyber path planning, and networking events to assist you in job-search strategies during technical training. As you approach graduation, students work with a career coach to refine their strategies and overcome challenges until they secure employment.

What is Registered Apprenticeship?
Hacking the Workforce provides state approved Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Programs. A Registered Apprenticeship is a training model led by employers that mixes hands-on experience with classroom education based on industry standards. Our programs help companies find and keep skilled workers. This official Registered status follows national and state training quality standards, and participants earn a respected credential when they finish.
Over 90% of our participants obtain employment within six months of completing our programs, with salary increases of at least $40,000.

Hacking The Workforce's Pre-Apprenticeship Program is designed to equip aspiring IT Generalists and Cybersecurity Analysts with the foundational skills and knowledge needed to excel in the rapidly evolving tech industry.
This program integrates basic skills training with specialized technical instruction, providing a comprehensive pathway to industry-recognized certifications and entry-level employment.

Integrated Education and Training (IET):
Simultaneous Instruction: Participants receive concurrent training in essential soft skills and technical skills specific to IT and Cybersecurity.
Team Teaching Approach: Courses are taught by dual instructors—one specializing in adult education and another in IT and Cybersecurity.
Curriculum:
IT Generalist Track: This comprehensive program covers fundamental network concepts, hardware and software troubleshooting, operating systems, and essential IT support skills. It equips participants with the knowledge necessary to prepare for industry-recognized certifications, such as the CompTIA Tech+ Certification. CompTIA Tech+ serves as the foundational certification for individuals seeking careers in the technology sector. The course provides an in-depth understanding of the exam, including the weightage of each objective towards the overall score. Additionally, participants gain insights from practical tips and strategies to enhance their exam preparation. Upon completing this course, graduates possess the requisite skills and knowledge to successfully obtain the CompTIA Tech+ certification.
Cybersecurity Analyst Track: This program emphasizes cybersecurity principles, threat analysis, incident response, and ethical hacking. It equips participants with industry-recognized certifications, such as the ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity. The ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) credential is designed for newcomers to the field, acknowledging the increasing trend of individuals entering the cybersecurity workforce without direct cybersecurity experience. Obtaining a Certified in Cybersecurity certification instills confidence in employers that candidates possess a solid understanding of essential technical concepts and demonstrate a aptitude for continuous learning. By obtaining an ISC2 certification, holders benefit from the world’s largest network of certified cybersecurity professionals, who provide ongoing support for professional development and facilitate the acquisition of new achievements and qualifications throughout their careers.
