Where your gift goes

One gift. Six programs. One path.

Our programs are not separate. A kid at a youth session becomes a student in a school partnership, who gets mentored, who gets trained, who gets hired, who then protects a nonprofit through the Clinic. Your gift moves people along that path.

1 · Spark Youth sessions Hands-on cyber days for kids and teens, like our Seafarers Yacht Club sessions. Pays for kits, snacks, and a teacher in the room. 2 · Learn School partnerships We bring cyber into schools that cannot afford a program of their own. Pays for curriculum, labs, and teacher training. 3 · Mentor Career Launchpad mentoring Students get mentored at no cost. Pays for mentor time, resume and interview prep, and study hall. 4 · Train ACCESS Granted apprenticeship A U.S. DOL registered apprenticeship. Pays for a seat: lab access, a laptop if needed, exam fees, and the proctored final. 5 · Hire Job placement We match graduates with employers who need them. Pays for the people who do the matching and keep graduates supported in month one. 6 · Protect Cyber Clinic Graduates protect nonprofits, churches, and small businesses that could never afford a security team. Pays for tools and supervision.

That is the full path: youth session, school program, mentoring, a registered apprenticeship with a laptop and exam fees, placement, and their first months protecting a nonprofit in the Clinic. It is a conversation, not a button. Companies, foundations, and donor-advised funds usually start here.

$10,000 sponsors one apprentice year, the train stage on its own. Employers who plan to hire a graduate often fund the seat their hire comes from.

Does all of it reach you?

Nearly all of it. PayPal's nonprofit rate takes a small processing fee per gift and the rest goes straight to programs. If you would rather we receive every cent, mail a check; email hello@hackingtheworkforce.org for the address.
